back to January 2007 to be precise, the year after we launched Wharfe Valley Farms oils. The Ackrill Group’s ’Business Pink’ ran this story 14 years ago – wow how time flies! One of WVF’s first celeb chefs – well pâtissiers in this case – one Thierry Dumouchel, renowned commercial baker, is pictured with Sallyann admiring beautiful breads made using our beautiful rapeseed oil!

Thierry’s family-run boulangerie, patisserie and chocolaterie is based in Garforth, Leeds and was established in 1998 by Thierry himself – father, owner and well-renowned Chocolatier and Master Baker. Born in Normandy, France to a farming family, Thierry learned from a young age how to appreciate fresh, quality food and as a great believer in “You are what you eat” Thierry has always been against the addition of any artificial chemicals and preservatives in to our foods. Trained at Rouen Boulangerie Patisserie School, Thierry’s artful food skills have taken him around the world and as a master of his craft.
